Luciane
I felt very confident throughout the real exam, since this program did a good job with the mock exam providing situational questions that prepared me well. Studying the rationale for each answer helped me to learn how to think when answering some tricky questions.
Tanisha
I was able to listen to the videos while cooking and working. I was feeling anxious but I passed the first time. I loved the test questions and rationales for each question.

No. We don't have any hidden fees or required add-ons. Our program comes at one complete, straightforward price. We have a separate, paperback study guide that you can buy to have another mode of learning and some additional practice questions, but that's entirely optional.
Most customers can complete all course segments, including all videos, quizzes, mock exams, and review of mock exam results, in a total of about 25-30 hours of study time. Of course, individual preferences and paces vary, so you may need more time, or you may need less.
We recommend at least a week of study time in advance of your actual exam. We offer a structured, 7-day study plan, but this is entirely optional. Once enrolled, you are free to complete the prep course at your own pace.
Initial course access is set to 90 days from the date of purchase. But if you reschedule or fail your exam, there's no need to worry -- you don't need to purchase again. We're with you until you pass. You can request a no-cost extension.
We're with you until you pass. Initial course access is set to 90 days, but if you fail or reschedule your exam, you can request a no-cost extension.
All of our video segments are fully closed captioned, and the captions are searchable. In addition, if you have received accommodations for your exam through PearsonVUE, we can provide mock exam timing that corresponds with your accommodations. Additional information on this is available within the course.
No program can guarantee you will pass your test, since exam performance depends on a lot of things: Knowledge of the material, test-taking strategy, anxiety management, and the testing environment each play a role. When other programs say they offer a "Pass Guarantee," check the fine print: In all likelihood, they're not promising that you will definitely pass, nor are they offering your money back if you don't. They're just using gimmicky language for what we offer you up front and honestly: We're with you until you pass.
We think we give you the best chance of passing your exam. But if you don't pass after using our program, or if you move your test date to give yourself more study time, you can request a free extension.

California Clinical Social Work Law and Ethics Exam Information
If you are an Associate Social Worker (ASW), you must attempt the Law and Ethics Exam at least once in each year of registration until you have passed the exam. Once you have passed the exam, you do not need to take it again (except in extremely rare cases, such as leaving the field for several years and then returning).
In general, we recommend taking the test quickly once you are registered as an associate. Your knowledge from your graduate program is likely to still be fresh in your mind, and taking the test early means that you can quickly be done with this step toward licensure.
If you are planning to take the exam toward the end of your registration period (that is, close to your renewal date), we recommend scheduling your exam attempt at least a few days in advance of your scheduled registration renewal date, as it can take 1-2 business days for PearsonVUE to transmit your exam attempt to the BBS, allowing your renewal to process.
The California LCSW Law and Ethics exam consists of 75 questions, of which 50 are scored and 25 are non-scored. Examinees typically have 90 minutes to complete the exam.
Before you register for the exam, the California BBS must declare you eligible to take it. You can apply for exam eligibility through the state's Breeze system.
Once the BBS has declared you eligible and sent your eligibility to PearsonVUE, you can register for the exam on the PearsonVUE website.
The BBS allows those with recognized disabilities to apply for exam accommodations through its test vendor, PearsonVUE. You can learn more about that process here. If you have received accommodations for your exam, we can provide mock exam timing that corresponds with your accommodations. Additional information on this is available within the course.
The test is offered at PearsonVUE testing sites around the state. In addition, it is possible to take the exam at many out-of-state locations as well. More information on testing locations is available here.
If you don't pass your LCSW Law and Ethics Exam, you simply must wait at least 90 days and attempt again. We're with you until you pass, so if you need an extension on your program, simply fill out the extension request form available on your dashboard upon login.
While it is not common, on rare occasions exams will be impacted by power outages or other issues that result in inadequate or improper test administration. In such instances, it is important to have testing center staff file an Incident Report before you leave the building. This report makes it much more likely that PearsonVUE or the BBS will be able to take steps to rectify the situation.
