Continuing Education

We will take reasonable steps to accommodate customer requests for disability accommodations in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Requests for accommodations related to continuing education courses may be submitted via email to support@highpass.com. Many accessibility features are already included in modern web browsers. All of our videos are closed-captioned. Requests are evaluated on a case-by-case basis, and the CE Director makes a final determination on what accommodations will be offered. While we aim to provide reasonable accessibility for all of our offerings, accommodations may take up to 90 days to provide.

Books

We will take reasonable steps to accommodate customer requests for disability accommodations in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Requests for accommodations related to books may be submitted via email to support@highpass.com. Many accessibility features are already included in modern ebook readers, and we encourage customers with accessibility needs to purchase digital versions of our books where available and appropriate. Accommodation requests are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. While we aim to provide reasonable accessibility for all of our offerings, accommodations may take up to 90 days to provide.

Exam Prep

For exam prep courses, in addition to taking reasonable steps to accommodate customer requests for disability accommodations in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), we will make reasonable efforts to align our accommodations with those authorized for your actual exam. For example, if you have an accommodations letter from the testing provider authorizing 50% additional time on your exam, we typically can provide mock exams with that same time allowance. Please submit a copy of your accommodation letter as directed within your course, when asked for your actual exam date. All videos in our exam prep courses are closed-captioned. Requests for additional accommodations can be emailed to support@highpass.com and will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. While we aim to provide reasonable accessibility for all of our offerings, accommodations may take up to 90 days to provide.

Submitting Accommodation Requests

When making a request for accommodations, please submit the following information:

  • Proof of purchase. For products purchased directly from us, note your order number. For any products not purchased directly from us (for example, a physical book purchased through a university bookstore), this typically means a digital receipt or order confirmation. 

  • Requested accommodation. Please describe as specifically as possible what accommodation is being requested.

  • Supporting documentation. Documentation from a physician or other healthcare professional with the authority to assess and diagnose the specific disability. For some diagnoses, it may be helpful if the documentation provides information on the degree of impairment.

We aim to process accommodation requests quickly, and typically make a determination on the appropriateness of a requested accommodation within 30 days. In some instances, we may defer making a decision on accommodations until we can receive additional requested information. Depending on the nature of the accommodation, it may take up to an additional 60 days for the accommodation to be provided.
