Your use of the site constitutes agreement with the policies and practices outlined on our site. Any purchase, enrollment, or other form of access to our course materials additionally binds you to our separate Course and Continuing Education Policies, including the Terms of Use detailed there.

Software license. Our online courses and exam prep programs are software products. When you purchase a course from us, you are purchasing a temporary and revocable license that allows only the individual purchaser to use the software product. Login sharing or transferring is a violation of these terms of use.

Copyright. All of our content, including but not limited to our web site, books, online courses, and exam prep programs are protected by copyright law and other intellectual property protections. When using our products, you agree to respect our intellectual property, and not to share any portion of course or exam prep content with anyone, for any purpose. Accounts believed to be violating this policy may be restricted, and course access terminated, without the possibility of a refund. Further action may be taken against anyone reproducing, sharing, or otherwise using our content in violation of copyright or our related intellectual property rights, or participating in any context where others are known to be doing so.

Respect and collegiality. We may revoke access to courses and to other High Pass Education resources, at our sole discretion and without the possibility of a refund, if you engage in conduct within our courses or other resources that is harmful to our company or to other users. This includes malicious attempts to access private data, deceptive or fraudulent course or account registrations, attempts to circumvent any rules or policies applied by us, attempts to reverse-engineer our products or systems, abusive or hate-based content, threats of violence, or the promotion of violent or extremist views.

Truthful and honest action. You agree only to use High Pass Education products and services in the course of legal, professional actions. Any users or accounts believed to be fraudulent or participating in illegal or unprofessional conduct may be frozen or removed without the possibility of a refund.

Coupons and discounts. Coupons and discounts expire at 11:59 California time on dates noted and cannot be used in combination. Unless otherwise noted, limit one per customer. Discounts and pricing may be changed or expire at any time without prior notice.

Release of liability. By using our products and services, including our web site, you fully, wholly, and permanently release us and our contractors, partners, and assigns from liability surrounding the information we provide and your use of this information. You understand that while information is believed to be accurate at the time of publication, legal, ethical, cultural, and professional standards can change quickly, and it is the responsibility of each individual to remain current.

We value your trust and protect your privacy. For example, credit card transactions are processed by our payment processor, in accordance with their privacy policy. We never even see your detailed financial information (such as a complete credit card number). Our courses are delivered through a Learning Management System, with whom we contract to provide course delivery. Some quiz and testing functionality is delivered through specialized providers.

Investigations. We may share customer information at our discretion to investigate and respond to suspected violations of these terms of use, or to assist licensing boards, ethics committees, law enforcement, or other outside entities in their investigation of suspected unprofessional conduct or legal or ethical violations. We reserve the right to report such suspected violations directly if we believe such action is warranted.
