How we calculate this

Figures come from the Board of Behavioral Sciences "Exam Results by School" reports and count each school's graduates who took the exam that quarter. 1st Time Examinees are taking the exam for the first time, and All Examinees also includes people retaking it.

When you pick more than one quarter, each school's row adds up its examinees and passes across them. Someone who takes the exam more than once in that time counts once per attempt in All Examinees. Pick one school and more than one quarter, and the table lists that school's results quarter by quarter, with its total for the period at the bottom.

A school with fewer than 10 examinees over the period is hidden unless you untick the box above the table, and a quarter in which a school had fewer than 10 is left out of its line on the chart. Small groups swing widely. They still count in the All schools row, BBS's statewide figure, so the listed rows add up to less while they are hidden. This rule is for school data. High Pass figures are shown whatever their size, and the comparison above gives the number of examinees behind each rate. A school's pass rate describes its past graduates, not any one person's chances.

High Pass figures count customers who reported their exam result to us. They are grouped by their score on the final High Pass mock exam. Well-prepared means 80 or higher. Well-prepared + marginal means 70 or higher, so it includes the first group. Updated with BBS data through Q2 2026.
